What Moves The Price

Film Grade

Standard white film sits toward the lower end of the range. Premium, low-haze film for a feature window or a glass wall you’ll look through often costs more, since the optical clarity is higher and the frost is more even when switched off.

Job Size

The rate per square metre drops as a project grows. A single bathroom window still needs a site visit, wiring and a transformer, so it prices toward the top of the range. A full office fit-out spreads that same setup cost across far more glass.

Complexity

Panel count, awkward cut-outs, curved glass, exterior-facing installs, tricky access and long concealed wiring runs all add time on site. A single accessible interior panel with power close by is the simplest job we quote.

Smart Film vs. Switchable Smart Glass

Smart film is applied directly to the glass you already have, so there’s no reglazing, no new framing, and the installation is usually finished in hours rather than days. If you’re starting from scratch, such as a new build or a renovation where the glazing is being replaced anyway, our switchable smart glass product may be the better fit, since the switching layer is laminated into the pane itself rather than applied afterwards.
